B2B MARKETING PLANNER

As our B2B Marketing Planner, you will be responsible for developing the strategic approach for our clients’ integrated marketing campaigns. You’re already a proven and successful planner with extensive marketing experience, ideally in B2B, plus knowledge of the full communications mix. You shape plans for specific client requirements and deliver the magic during client presentations. You are dynamic, curious and articulate, with a challenger mindset. You bring campaign outcomes to life.

This is an exciting opportunity to build on Revere’s reputation for strategic excellence. Reporting to the Strategy Director, you will be integral to our growing strategy team.

Your day job

Working in a thriving, vibrant marketing agency means every day will be different. However, as part of your remit in developing tailored propositions you will:

  • Run discovery sessions with clients to gather and interpret internal perspectives
  • Conduct desk-based research or apply primary research findings to gather relevant B2B market and audience insights
  • Identify key triggers and motivators to scope out and validate your campaign strategy
  • Build out the go-to-market plan, from insights to points of interest to tactical recommendations, to achieve the client’s business objectives and address the market need
  • Champion the target audience by recommending tailored content and engaging experiences
  • Confidently present the full plan, articulating how it drives anticipated campaign outcomes
  • Collaborate across Revere teams to support and deliver on your recommendations
  • Work closely with the strategic writer to incorporate aligned propositions and high-level messaging into your go-to-market plans.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver impressive go-to-market plans that inspire, excite and influence clients
  • Ensure understanding and buy-in to your strategic direction
  • Conduct research and audits, review primary research findings, analyse client supplied input, and interrogate data
  • Turn all data and insights into simple, relevant truths
  • Structure these truths, so they form the basis of the core thought, supporting themes, and value proposition
  • Take the proposition to market, with tailored communication ideas across the buyer journey for multi-channel delivery
  • Support client consultations and lead on strategic presentations
  • Work collaboratively with the strategic writer to fully develop each go-to-market plan – aligning your insight and approach to tailored propositions, for a complete strategic narrative
  • Work closely with Revere teams to achieve the best outcomes and deliver on the promise of the strategic plan
  • Be the go-to person for fresh B2B intelligence (latest content ideas, activation trends, digital approaches, and cool creative campaigns)

Your skills

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a strategic marketing agency
  • B2B technology marketing experience would be a definite plus
  • Strategic, innovative thinker with the ability to own and develop end-to-end plans
  • Confidence to turn unstructured data and input into cohesive thinking and strategies
  • Ability to conduct / apply research and analyse findings for relevant insights
  • Awareness of the different touchpoints and triggers in a B2B customer journey
  • Passion for trends, topics and tactics to deliver the best recommendations
  • Strong working knowledge of content marketing
  • Excellent presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent grammar and attention to detail
  • Intelligent problem-solver and lateral thinker
  • Natural relationship builder and proactive collaborator
  • Build credibility and trust with clients and agency staff at all levels.
